I got the gas for the mower today os step ones done.... I should really change the oil and air filter before I start it up but the lawns in desperate need for some trimming

How does the puppy handle the noise of the lawn mower? Every dog I’ve ever had has freaked out when I cut the grass.

Nice. Mowing the lawn after “doing maintenance on” the mower by topping up the low oil and running carb cleaner in a can through it was my only major accomplishment for the day. I was going to take a picture, but I just took a picture of my dog crashed out on the deck after chasing the mower around.

We had a Rottweiler that would attack the lawnmower when I was a kid. He hated anything with a small engine or 2 wheels.
It started with him barking from the porch but one day he ran out, grabbed it by the engine and started to pick it up. Cut the engine quickly and he had to stay inside whenever yard work was done for safety.

Heh, he hasn’t tried to pick it up yet. He does gently go after my bike when I take it out of the garage, though.
